The original design is a remembrance and transportation box to complement a collection of hand carved birds made to celebrate the life of Annick Bouverat who was married to a very dear friend of Colum's. Colum collaborated with artist and sculptor Mr Roland Cretton and architect Bernard Ferrari, in the village of Argentière in Chamonix. This box is made from Italian Olive and has a personal inscription on the lid to Annick’s husband René.
